NEW IN 2026 - Our levels have changed for the 2026 little league season. These changes were made with player development and retention in mind. Minors and Majors levels are unchanged.
T-Ball: For boys and girls preschool age (4- and 5-year-olds). The season begins with instructional group practices that focus on the basics of playing baseball. All players hit off the tee for the entire season. T-Ball is an instructional division with no scores or statistics kept. Games are played at La Grange Highlands School fields.
C-Ball (Coach Pitch): For boys and girls in Kindergarten & 1st grade. The season begins with team practices where coaches build off what players learned in T-Ball. Coaches pitch to their own players during games for the entire season. Catchers are in gear and there is a player playing "pitcher" next to the coach pitching. Games are played at Ridgewood Park, Countryside SW Field, and La Grange Highlands School fields.
B-Ball (Beginner Pitch): For boys and girls in 2nd grade. Traditional baseball rules and positions are applied. Kid pitch all-season long. Pitching mound is at 40 feet. There is no stealing or advancing on passed balls. Score is kept. Playoffs at the end of the season. League games are played at Ridgewood Park, Countryside NE and SW fields. All-Star Tournament(s) are at the end of June/early July.
Minors: For boys and girls in 3rd & 4th grade. Pitching mound is at 46 feet, stealing can occur once ball crosses home plate, players can advance bases on passed balls, hard wall at 3rd. Score is kept. Playoffs at the end of the season. League games are played at Timber Trails Park, Hodgkins Park, and White Buffalo Park. 9U All-Star and 10U District 9 tournaments are played in July.
Majors: For boys and girls in 5th & 6th grade. Kid pitch all season. Score is kept. Playoffs at the end of the season. League games are played at City Park, Hodgkins Park, and Walker Park. 11U and 12U District 9 tournaments are played in July. Majors Division champion will play in the Brookfield Overholt Tournament in September.
